Anyone experiencing ongoing pain or inflammation in their joints and tissues requires medical attention and consultation.
Moreover, there are those times of pain that you must face alone. Times when those affected have nothing left to do but wait and endure.
When I suffered from rheumatoid arthritis, that was me all too often. And I wished so badly just to be able to, in those moments, deliberately tone down the pain, and then end the inflammation flare or even prevent the next one.
In such a situation, I realised how I could expand my scope of action through targeted relaxation and began exercising in various situations.
But before that, the pain during flare-ups of my rheumatoid arthritis was beyond my imagination. Although I did receive basic RA medications and painkillers from my internal medicine rheumatologist, when the pain and helplessness became overwhelming, I wished I had some support.
Again and again, I suffered through hours-long pain attacks. From my rheumatologist, I knew that inflammatory pain meant acute destruction in my joints, something I naturally dreaded. The pain was bad enough on its own, but I was not willing to accept the prospect of the progressive destruction of my joints. Although I regularly took my medication as prescribed, I wanted to live without it, as it could cause addiction, side effects, and unwanted interactions between different drugs. This way, worries about my future joined the severe pain attacks.
Over time, I learned more and more about reducing my pain and inflammation with my HeilÜben exercises successfully. So my rheumatoid arthritis ended over 24 years ago.

As part of our online coaching, my team and I can accompany you through times of pain and inflammation, worry and exhaustion by listening to you and supporting you in your search for relief. We can also discuss my own experience of reducing pain through relaxation. Together, we will find ways for you to set up your own HeilÜben exercises and integrate them into your everyday life.
